Who we are...
Ark & Arrows is a faith-based learning community for Kindergarten through High School. We offer enrichment in core classes, and elective classes for Kindergarten-6th grade. For grades 7-12, we offer enrichment in core classes through tutoring sessions. We also incorporate volunteering opportunities, bible study, and daily mentoring for teens.
We are not a school therefore we do not have records or keep grades. You, the parent, are the teacher, and should be keeping grades. We do provide parents help if needed whether you are new to homeschooling or have been homeschooling for a while.
We encourage hands-on learning, engaging interaction & critical thinking, while teaching students good character, responsibility, compassion & how to work well with others. We are here to help you in your homeschool journey to supplement classes.
We provide a safe place where homeschool families can come together; take core & elective classes, participate in community events/field trips, and receive support and encouragement from one another, all to enrich your homeschool journey.

Welcome to Ark & Arrows! I’m so happy that you’re here. I graduated from Dowling College in 2009 where I received my Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education. In 2018, God blessed me with a son. Shortly after, God placed it on my heart to homeschool him. The flexibility, freedom, and family time that homeschooling provides is extremely important to me. I’ve become very passionate about laying a spiritual foundation for my son; so that he may become the person God has created him to be. I enjoy serving and encouraging others & believe that what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you. I feel extremely blessed to work alongside like-minded families.
My vision is to build an army of believers that GROW in both God and in themselves for such a time as this. The Bible encourages us to pursue spiritual growth, as well as actively contributing to the growth and maturity of the Christian community. God’s plans for children are to: (1) be brought to Jesus (2) be protected (3) be trained to be disciplined and responsible (4) be immersed in truth. Proverbs 127:3 says Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. The most important assignment we have as parents is to raise & educate these precious gifts God has entrusted us with. My heart’s desire is to encourage & help families reach their full potential in God.

Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible is the infallible word of God. We are determined to live by His word in all we say and do. We believe in the Trinity- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, but that those who believe in Him and receive the gift of salvation through His Son, Jesus will receive eternal life.
We believe in the deity and humanity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His visible return in power and glory.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of eternal life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of eternal damnation. John 5:24-25, 28-29
We believe that the universe originated by the creative act of God as revealed in Holy Scripture, and that the form of every kind of life was fixed at the time of its creation. Genesis 1:1; John 1:1-3
We believe that God created marriage in the beginning, as a blessing for both man and woman, before any sin or rebellion entered the world, and that he created marriage to be between one man and one woman, who enter into a covenant relationship, complement one another, serve one another, and sanctify one another for as long as they both shall live. Accordingly, we reject any attempt to redefine marriage as a union between people of the same sex or as between more than one man and one woman. We believe that human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all of human life. Psalm 139
The statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe. For purposes of Ark & Arrows Enrichment Center's faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, our Board of Directors is Ark & Arrows Enrichment Center final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application.

Is your community run by a church?
- No. We are a separate, Christian community.
What is concept learning?
What is the role of tutors at Ark & Arrows?
- Ark & Arrows will cover enrichment in core subjects and electives over the course of 32 weeks for grades K-5. On community day, tutors will provide enrichment that will enhance your child's learning experience at home.
What is the role of parents at Ark & Arrows?
- Parents are responsible for the majority of their child's education and will continue with the material covered in community on days at home. Tutors will guide parents and students on what the requirements are outside of the community.
Who purchases the curriculum?
- Parents purchase their curriculum of choice.
Who handles grades and reports to NYS?
- The parents will keep a record of their children's grades and do all reporting required according to NYS homeschool regulations. (See HSLDA.org for NYS regulations)
When can I join the community?
- Our 32-week program starts in September and ends in May. However, families looking to join after our start date are welcome (based on availability).
What are the fees for Ark & Arrows? When is tuition due?
- Email Arkandarrows@gmail.com for pricing & schedules offered. Tuition is due the FIRST of every month (from September through May)
